1. What PreOops is

PreOops is a browser extension that learns the contexts you work in and shows warnings when files, accounts, messages or pasted content appear to cross between unrelated contexts.

Please read this part: PreOops’s warnings and context recognition are assistive. They are a second pair of eyes — not a guarantee. The extension may miss mix-ups, may flag things that are fine, and cannot prevent every mistake. You remain responsible for what you send, upload, paste or publish.

2. Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use PreOops for personal or professional purposes, subject to these terms. The extension remains the property of Erwin Bogaert.

3. Free and paid features

Free — the Free plan is free to use, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
Pro — a one-time purchase of €29 unlocks the Pro feature set for the licence holder, on their own devices.
Teams — a planned subscription offering, not yet available for purchase.

Feature sets may evolve; what you bought never gets worse — if a Pro feature is renamed or improved, your licence covers it.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy; your payment details never reach us. If Pro doesn’t work for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you. Statutory consumer rights in your country always apply.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

misrepresent what the extension does, or resell access to it;
attempt to extract, abuse or overload any licensing or update infrastructure;
use the extension in violation of applicable law or a third party’s rights.

6. Availability and updates

The extension runs locally, so core functionality does not depend on our servers. We may release updates that add, improve or change features. We aim for stability but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PreOops is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose. Without limiting that: we do not warrant that every context mix-up will be detected or prevented.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erwin Bogaert is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including lost data, lost profits or the consequences of a mistaken send, upload or post — arising from use or inability to use the extension. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using PreOops at any time by uninstalling it — your local data is removed with it. We may suspend or end the licence for breach of these terms. Sections that by nature survive termination (disclaimers, liability, contact) do so.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this site or in release notes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
